About Clonabreany House

Clonabreany House is an exclusive wedding and private events venue set amid breath taking Meath countryside and only one hour from Dublin

Steeped in history, the beautifully restored Georgian house and courtyard surrounded by private grounds can cater for up to 220 guests with on-site accommodation for up to 100 guests, an Irish country sibín bar and a magnificent permanent Grand Marquee.

For over 15 years we have been hosting once-in-a lifetime events and we are renowned for our attention to detail and providing a professional, personal service for you and your guests. Our amazing team of professional and friendly staff will be on hand to cater for you and your guests every need throughout your stay.

Our History

The opening of Clonabreany House in 2009 marked the unveiling of a 10 year restoration project of the 18th century land master house and adjoining courtyard.

Our Location

Despite our rural location, Clonabreany House is only one hour from Dublin on the M3 motorway. We are located just outside the village of Crossakiel between the towns of Kells and Oldcastle in Co. Meath.

Bus Eireann coaches run daily between Dublin Airport/city centre and Kells. Kells is only a short distance (15 minutes) from Clonabreany and taxi services are available from Kells.

We are more than happy to recommend transport options if you have groups travelling from abroad.

The Food

They say that we eat with our eyes which is great because the presentation of food at Clonabreany receives such high praise from our guests. It tastes amazing too of course! All of our food is top quality, fresh and locally sourced produce, which is very important to us. We cater for every dietary requirement with ease to make sure everyone enjoys a delicious meal.

The Staff

We’re friendly, we’re local, we’re fun but total professionals and we absolutely always go the extra mile. No request is too much. On the day you arrive to Clonabreany, you and your guests will be greeted at the gate with a warm Irish welcome and our amazing team of professional and friendly staff will be on hand to cater for you and your guests every need throughout your stay. We love getting to know you, your family and friends and when that special day arrives and we see those huge smiles on everyone’s faces, we can be sure we’re doing our jobs right!

The Setting

Everyone comments on how peaceful and quiet Clonabreany House is. Some say it is the middle of nowhere but we like to think it’s the center of everywhere! We literally have rolling countryside surrounding us and beautiful grounds providing hundreds of photo opportunities. We are entirely and exclusively yours for your event and your event is our priority.
