Guest Information

If you have been invited to a wedding or event at Clonabreany House, we very much look forward to welcoming you!
Below is some information you may find useful in advance of your visit.

Visiting Clonabreany House

Clonabreany House is a private events venue and is only open to invited guests during events. If you need to visit us in advance of your stay then please email or call us to arrange a suitable time. Our office hours are 9:30am to 5:30pm Monday - Sunday.

Staying at Clonabreany House

Clonabreany House provides luxury on-site accommodation in Clonabreany Courtyard - a beautifully restored Courtyard with 10 original coaching buildings sleeping up to 100 people sharing.

All rooms at Clonabreany Courtyard are reserved for your hosts when booking their event with us. They will then complete a Rooming List which they send to us in advance of their event, allocating rooms to their guests.

Once we have received the Rooming List we make contact with the guests advising them that a room has been allocated to them and to confirm their reservation.

Check in is from 3:00pm and check out is 11:30am. If you would like to be put on a Waitlist of rooms for a particular event please email our Reservations Team.

If you have not been allocated a room in Clonabreany Courtyard there are a number of local accommodation options available which our Reservations Team can help you with.

Children

Guests are reminded that we wish everyone to enjoy the facilities at Clonabreany House however a through road is to the front of Clonabreany House between the House and the Courtyard Cottages and there is a lake to the rear of the House so children must be supervised at all times.

Children under 12 years of age are not permitted to stay overnight in a room on their own and must stay with an adult.

Travelling to Clonabreany House

Clonabreany is located approximately an hour from Dublin, just outside the village of Crossakiel between the towns of Kells and Oldcastle in Co. Meath.

There is no public transport directly to the venue. Bus Eireann coaches run daily between Dublin Airport/city centre and Kells. Kells is only a short distance (15 minutes) from Clonabreany and taxi services are available to and from Kells.

Please do arrange transport in advance as it will not always be possible to hail a taxi very late at night when you are trying to get home.

Parking

There is plenty of on-site parking and a member of our staff will be at the main gate to direct you on arrival. From the main car park it is a short walk to the main reception areas.

Please only park in allocated areas to facilitate access for buses, taxis, and emergency services.

No parking is permitted at the front of the house except for bridal cars being used for photographs.

Parking is at your own risk and cars left overnight must be collected by 1pm the following day.
